About Stella’s Trackside
When I bought Stella’s Black Dog Tavern in 2013, owning a second restaurant was a thought, but nothing I spent much time exploring. When the opportunity presented itself to purchase the old Station 885 and breathe new life into it, Stella and I jumped at it. We love an adventure and I love the challenge of turning something old and unprofitable into something new, exciting and profitable.
Our vision for Stella’s Trackside is a cozy welcoming restaurant that offers something for everyone. Our main menu offers Southern/Floridian comfort food that includes steaks, fresh seafood and options for vegetarians as well. All perfectly executed by our Executive Chef Aaron Peggs and his culinary team.
We have not forgotten about lunch! We are offering delicious sandwiches and salads that can be available in quick fashion for everyone in your lunch group.
Banquets are still a passion of ours; our renovated banquet room is the ideal space for graduations, small weddings, showers, funeral receptions, business meetings and events, holiday parties and other special moments. Our culinary team works with you to develop a menu perfect for your budget and the event.
Come see us! This wasn’t an easy transition, but we finally have it where we want it and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you into our second home-away-from-home.

Aaron Peggs: Interim Executive Chef
Chef Aaron’s career as an Executive Chef and Culinary Consultant has spanned many years and diverse areas of the globe. He headlined at Chateaux in Deer Valley, was Executive Chef at Bistro Toujours, and exhibited his culinary prowess at the Winter Olympics in Park City, Utah, amongst other career highlights.
“I’m excited to execute the restaurant Bob has been building towards,” he said, “I’m introducing a menu that will truly offer something for everyone and will enable guests to feel proud holding formal events, parties and special dinners while still offering excellent pub fare, date night cuisine and a comfortable place for family gatherings.”
